About
Laura Nova Lane pseudonym of Laura Cojocaru, was born in Rome on March 15, 2006 to Moldovan parents. She began studying singing when she was 10 years old, accompanied by her father’s piano lessons. At 16 she began to be interested in Jazz, thanks to her singing teacher Sara della Porta, listening to and taking inspiration from great singers such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Elvis Presley.
In her old school, “CentrOttava”, she participated in a choir and a Jazz and R&B music workshop. She became very passionate about this type of music because according to Laura they transmit love and positive feelings, accompanied by melodies that give serenity and happiness to the days.
She has always had a big dream: to bring her music to clubs and festivals around the world. Her music, an explosive mix of EDM, dance, electro-pop and synthwave that speaks directly to the heart of Generation Z.
