Alacran

Alacran is a music journey, spatial-temporal bridge between Latin and modern emotionalism array electronic influences. The faces and souls that give life to this musical adventure are those of the guitarist, composer and producer Stefano Micarelli and vocalist, songwriter and composer Paola Fortini (a.k.a.Pauline London). Both move along paths for years varied from jazz to songwriter music as well in world-music, collaborating with many artists and realizing various projects on their behalf.

Stefano Micarelli has recorded manies CDs as a leader, including the recent “My Favourite beats” (with Dynamic 4) on jazz REgroovable. The songs he produced together with Roberto Colella with the band: Barrio Jazz Gang are scattered in the compilation releases worldwide. In more instrumental guitar between his collaborations include pop, Orchestra della RAI. In jazz as well as collaborate with prominent names of the Italian scene (Massimo Urbani, etc.) has had frequent experiences with overseas musicians, with George Garzone and Eddie Henderson (will be present in the new cd of Barrio Jazz Gang on three tracks), with whom he has also recorded CDs, with Mike Mainieri and Benny Maupin.
