“Message Combo” is a project of LEONARDO CESARI feat. Sarah Corbò on voice: is release on Funky Juice Rec of Roby Colella who strongly advice the artist to work on this wonderful project.
Is not just a musical project but also an encounter, a recollection, an experiment. The songs in this EP with their afro-american flavor are born out of the experience of Leonardo Cesari, ethno-jazz drummer, lounge music producer and composer for movies and television. They carry an artistic heritage that goes back a long way: to the magical and irreverent Roman jazz scene, to the sounds of 1960s nightlife, and the atmosphere Cesari experienced in his own home participating in jazz sessions with his father Umberto, the legendary pianist whose studio was infused with all the energy of that buzzing world. That timeless sound remains unforgettable and has been enriched by Leonardo Cesari’s encounter with the excellent musicians that give life and shape to “Message Combo”, each adding a unique and distinctive contribution.
