Rob Ray Cole a.k.a. Rob Colella is an Italian producer of electronic to jazz music, trip-hop and returning to his youthful passions also to desert-folk music, Americana, as well acoustic fingerstyle. He runs an indipendent label called FUNKY JUICE and he is also the artistic/executive producer of the followings artists: BARRIO JAZZ-GANG, Panaphonic, Pauline London, Alacran, Black Bombay, Brother Groove.
His passion for travel (having touched 4 continents) also led him to love and breathe the atmospheres of the Usa, Messico and as well the Mother-Land Africa, with the scents, flavors and wonderful sounds of the age-old tradition. Falling in love with the most unusual and unknown instruments in Europe, this led him to immerse himself in this work devoted to the sounds of American roots music, as well the Indian Native music, and of course the jazz and blues

In addition to his knowledge of the acoustic guitar, he enjoys a variety of string instruments (mandolin, banjo, as well bass-guitar and auto-harp) each adding its own unique timbre to his musical palette. He chased the twilight, the lonely highway, any place where the silence amplified the soul’s quiet language, a language spoken best through his weathered, whispering guitar. His compositions are a celebration of the diverse sounds that paint the American musical landscape, from soulful blues to joyful folk melodies.
