The Cuban Jazz Combo is led by Fabrizio Aiello, and has as collaborators a lot of other musicians such as: Paolo Yurich, Joy Garrison, Aldo Bassi, Elvio Ghigliordini and Pilù. After the international success of their first album this second release is a tribute to the great adventure of disco-music of the 70s, in a hot Cuban jazz style and mambo/salsa!
The Afro-Cuban sound mixed with jazz and their unique ideas, this is how the “cuban jazz combo” project was born! Always respecting the great masters of the 60s and 70s and remembering the “blue-note jazz-sounds”.
The leader Fabrizio Aiello begins showing his great talent at the age of 10 playing all sorts of percussion instruments –
He perfected the sound after many trips to the island of Cuba where Fabrizio played with the biggest names of the scene. He is also a teacher and a great session-man very requested for the most important concerts of the Italian artist. A big thank you to the many talented musicians of the Italian scene who supported this project.
