The PANAPHONIC project was born about 5 years ago as the playroom of Roby Colella producer and boss of Funky juice rec.

The song “afrokraft” is the latest production in chronological order, the play on words is born from the union of different sounds generated both electronically and acoustically that act as a carpet for African choirs on loops of percussion-grooves and drum samples.
The intent is to create a bridge between the two civilizations, the African and the Western one, and to deepen the common rhythms and the dark atmosphere of Afro-jazz and tribal dances with the electronic sounds typical of Northern Europe.

The intent is to create a bridge between the two civilizations, the African and the Western one, and to deepen the common rhythms and the dark atmosphere of Afro-jazz and tribal dances with the electronic sounds typical of Northern Europe.
The markedly jazzy trumpet reigns over everything, which designs both rhythmically amalgamated games and expressive and intense melodies. This debut CD is characterized by eclecticism, in fact it goes from nujazz to trip-hop, from bossa to electronic without ever going too far, amalgamating the sound in a perfect crossover of styles.
The sounds are always tropicalized with rhythmic insertions of guiro, congas, pandeiro, repenique, ago-go, bongos, shekere, cabasa but also “electro” with various filtering and equalization treatments, club classics.
Another peculiarity concerns the writing of the songs, with rhythms always incessantly obsessive and pressing, always maintaining the same groove, but varying the parts where the instruments come and go in a sort of mixing in the mixing. Another important element is the use of very important and characterizing effects in order to cover the sound with tensions and pauses balanced between them and superimposed on parallel panoramas, so to speak electrifying sensations but at the same time calm and peaceful.

In Japan he is a guest on various compilations and there a small cult has already been created around him and the label. In the last year, a new remix of the famous Brazilian singer Mona Gadelha “st. denis ceara” already included in brazil in his second cd-album “tudo se move” on brazilbizz records” and an original song sung by the argentine artist Liliana Gimenez: “Espuma bossa”, where the latter expresses herself in the portuguese language that she knows perfectly.
