The Sepia Clock
Anton Giulio Priolo

This award-winning, delicate animated short film tells the story of a little girl and her father. The metaphorical direction of the narration implies the unique and absolute way in which father and daughter love each other deeply and think of each other when life makes them distant. The intense connection of their hearts causes a small miracle, through which the growth process of the little girl takes place, who with infinite tenderness passes to adulthood.

Original soundtrack by ANTON GIULIO PRIOLO for the animated short film by GAKU KINOSHITA.

Anton Giulio Priolo tries his hand at this “complex simplicity” of a soundtrack in which the animator expressly requested to highlight in music a childish world that gradually enriches, stratifies and evolves, without ever losing that childish touch, because it is an essential accessory even in the transition to maturity. The short film has received numerous honors at home and abroad, receiving awards at international festivals, and the soundtrack itself has been the subject of dedicated seminars.
